Welcome! I’m Steve Server, MD, PhD. I’m a psychiatry resident at the University of California, Los Angeles. My research is in the History of Medicine, with particular interests in public health and medicine in Latin America, the history of psychiatry, and the theory and practice of medical ethics.
On this site, you can find my CV, my publications and presentations, links to pieces I’ve written, syllabi for courses I’m teaching and developing, and brief descriptions of my current projects. You can also see my unique perspective in action in my food blog. Hopefully, with all of that, you’ll be able to get a sense of what I think and how I think it.
