I had the honor of joining Dr. Mindy Schwartz in conversation as part of the Fortieth Annual Maclean Center Public Lecture Series exploring “The History of Medicine and Ethics”. In our talk “Studying the Past, Creating the Future,” Dr. Schwartz and I explain how historical work may be of benefit to clinicians in their daily practice, and in creating more equitable structures of care for the future.
